According to news reports, North Korea’s Pyongyang Broadcasting Station abruptly went off the air around 1200 UTC on January 12. My reception monitors in Tokyo, Japan, have not been able to receive MW frequencies of 657, 855, and 873 kHz, which used to have strong reception. 801 kHz cannot be confirmed due to interference from my local station, but Japanese and South Korean DXers monitors report that all MW and SW frequencies are not being received.
I can receive MW 720, 882 kHz of the Korean Central Broadcasting Station and MW 621 kHz of the Voice of Korea Japanese Broadcast.
News report (sorry in Japanese)
