Finland

DXpedition paradise is available to anyone.
You have probably heard of Aihkiniemi, a DXers’ paradise in Lapland, northern Finland. There are 13 Beverage antennas, each roughly 1 km (3,300 ft) long, pointing to all directions. I just wanted to remind you all that the association maintaining the site (which I’m a member of) has made it available to any DXer. So even from the US, you could travel over and spend an unforgettable week or two there.
We use Aihkiniemi for AM DXing from September to March, and currently only about half of the weeks have been reserved, so there are plenty of options if you’d like to plan a DXpedition of a lifetime. To get an idea of what it could be like, you can check for instance my DXpedition report from last October: https://www.dxing.info/dxpeditions/aih176report.php
You can find more info about Aihkiniemi at https://www.dxing.info/dxpeditions/aihkiniemi.php and in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stlUxm3uSiA&t=68s
The rent for one week is 800 euros. There are a total of four beds, but desk space is limited, so I’d say that two DXers at a time is ideal, and in that case the rent would be 400 euros per person per week. Feel free to consult me for vacant weeks, travel arrangements, or any other inquiries that you might have.
