Still no word on the fate of this station. It continues to simulcast CKNW-980 New Westminster BC most of the time, though CKGO interrupts the simulcasting on a daily basis to provide a podcast of Alan Cross’ Ongoing History of New Music, just as CHQT-880 Edmonton did just before the announcement that CHED-630 would take over 880. At CKGO, the automation has gotten sloppy with Alan’s podcast starting a minute or two into a syndicated show on CKNW or even in the middle of a commercial, then returning, mid-word, into the same syndicated show or another commercial.
