Country Radio on 954 kHz from České Budějovice continues for the time being.
“After two years, Country radio will leave the medium-wave transmitter in Liblice near Český Brod, where it moved due to the demolition of the transmitter in Zbraslav, where České Radiokomunikace will build the largest data centre in Central and Eastern Europe. The station’s operator, Radio United, has already notified the Radio and Television Broadcasting Council (RRTV) of its intention to stop broadcasting from Liblice on 31 March.
Country Radio will keep another medium-wave transmitter in České Budějovice for the time being, Radio United’s general director Martin Hroch confirmed to Médiář.
