I rechecked 1449kHz via an NZL SDR, which was receiving RNZ Palmerston North previously, early this morning, and the frequency was clear of signals, which indicates the station must have since been switched off.
I was able to hear and record 1449kHz RNZ from two separate online SDRs before it closed, with one of the SDRs being based in Palmerston North providing local reception.
Unfortunately, No loop tape has been heard on 1449kHz at all.
Here in Melbourne, when recently checking 1449kHz, there was short reception heard of 6TAB Mandurah WA AUS, though nothing else.
