Traficom Finland has confirmed that Alfa Media Group, which was granted a radio broadcasting license for the medium-wave frequency of 963 kHz, has not commenced broadcasting; consequently, the license has lapsed. Traficom confirmed the lapse of the license last week.
The old 600 kW 963 kHz radio transmitter in Pori was in such poor condition that it could not be repaired.
