Fairchild Radio has received permission to close 1470 CJVB in Vancouver BC [50kW]. Much of the Chinese programming that airs now on 1470 will be moved to their FM station CHKG-FM 96.1. CJVB will be closed within 60 days of the decision and the license itself will be revoked on March 5th.
