Czech Republic

Confirmation from Radio Prague International – Czech Radio stopping long, medium wave broadcasting at midnight. Midnight will be local time – 23:00 UTC.

Czech Radio (Český rozhlas) will stop broadcasting on long and medium wave as of midnight on Friday. Their stations will be available via DAB + as well as on the internet.
Until now, the public broadcaster’s Dvojka and Plus stations could be heard on medium wave, and the Radiožurnál station also on long wave.
DAB + digital signal expands the range of services and covers 95 percent of the Czech Republic.
