I am writing to report RTÉ Radio 1 ceased transmission of scheduled programming on 252 kHz at 0003 BST (2303 UTC) after an hourly news bulletin and the start of the hourly intro to Late Date. At 0004, O’Donnell Abú, the traditional RTÉ interval signal, was played and this was followed by a retune advice message which was repeated at 0006. I’m assuming this will be on loop over the coming days before Chaîne III Alger has the frequency to itself; I could hear it in the background in the last six minutes of my listening that had started at 2342.
