Greatest Hits Radio has replaced dozens of local radio stations across England and Wales this morning.
Listeners have been hearing messages on local radio stations for the last week teasing the takeover by Greatest Hits Radio.
Bauer Media says today marks the launch of the UK’s largest commercial radio network, by joining together three different services; Hits Radio, Greatest Hits Radio and Country Hits Radio.

New Design
As of today September 1st, mediumwave.info has a new design.
Since 1998 the website has been looking almost the same way with the well-known sunset-photo on the front page. This photo has been replaced by one showing the LW antenna masts of Kalundborg 243 kHz, taken on the 90th anniversary of that station in 2017.
As a new feature in mediumwave.info, there is a search function, which can be used in all pages except for searching in the Loggings-page.
Enjoy.
