AM BBC local radio switch off.
As I write to you at 0940 UTC I can announce that 729kHz Manningtree and 765kHz Chelmsford have been switched off. I can only guess that it occurred between 0915 UTC and 0940 UTC.
1026kHz Cambridge is still broadcasting the loop.

234 kHz – the last French long wave.
After Radio France, Europe 1 and RMC stopped their broadcasts on long wave, RTL has been the only broadcaster since 2020 that still uses this frequency range for France. The operators of the channel in Luxembourg are optimistic that they will be able to continue in the foreseeable future.

Salem Media Group has agreed to purchase 1300 KKOL Seattle from Tron Din Doh’s Intelli LLC for $500,000.
The deal marks a reacquisition of the station, which Salem had traded to Intelli in 2018 for what is now Conservative Talk “860 The Answer” KPAM Troutdale/Portland OR. Salem began reoperating KKOL via Time Brokerage Agreement on June 7. It becomes the fourth station in Salem’s Seattle cluster joining Christian Preaching “820 The Word” KGNW Burien-Seattle, Conservative Talk “1590 The Answer” KLFE Seattle and Regional Mexican “La Patrona 1680” KNTS Seattle.
KKOL has been operating mostly under STA since acquired by Intelli. The station began Program Testing Authority in 2019 triplexed with Salem’s 1590 KLFE and 1680 KNTS, but it is currently operating with its 3.2kW nighttime power all day due to interference being caused by its licensed 50kW daytime operation.
Adrián Pontes has begun operating Multicultural Broadcasting’s 1210 WNMA Miami Springs FL launching Spanish Christian “Oasis 1210“.
Currently running jockless, the station will begin staffed programming on July 1 including Pontes’ afternoon show that previously aired in the market on “Almavision Miami” 87.7 WEYS-LP.
WNMA most recently was leased out to former Salem Media Miami Market Manager Tony Calatayud as Sports/Hot Talk “1210 The Man“. Some of that station’s programming has continued to operate online only.
Summer solstice bandscan 2021.
Rain tonight so I had to shield the radio with a plastic bag. Found a dry period around 0030Z.
Not much to say about the LW band except that Allouis put in a better signal here than did Droitwich.
The MW band was more open than I thought it would be. In addition to the usual Brits, I heard a few Spanish stations, plus an Absolute Radio relay on 1242 kHz.
I could only make one quick run through either band since it began raining again shortly after I stepped outside.

From my latest monitoring at https://wp.me/pcMZHt-4R here is a log that needs clarification:
1110 kHz with presumed religious program with spiritual song at 1313 (coracao) “mais mais brazil” as motto, then a beat song . S20 or -37 dbm Not real ID for much time except this motto.
Does anyone here know which is the station? As per my logs these 3 signals from that kiwi SDR seem to transmit very from a very nearby point.
