As of July 1, Album AM has transferred both locations (Uden and Linschoten) on 846 KHz to MCB Radio that will provide three locations (Alphen aan den Rijn, Uden and Den Oever) from Alphen aan den Rijn. Location Uden remains available as a backup location for MCB Radio if there is maintenance or a malfunction at the primary location Alphen aan den Rijn.

Because the Alphen aan den Rijn location is significantly closer to the coast (20 km) compared to Uden (120 km), the signal can be heard reasonably in the Essex, Norfolk and Suffulk coastal regions, approximately 220 km of which 200 km of North Sea. MCB Radio broadcasts 24/7 365 so that Radio North will no longer be able to listen to in the aforementioned regions. MCB Radio can also be received at DAB+ with three locations from 1 July in the Alphen aan den Rijn region.

Album AM thanks the hundreds of DX listeners throughout Europe (20 countries, maximal distance 2411 km) for submitting listening reports in the past 5 years. The Album AM website (blog) http://www.albumam.nl and the e-mail address radio@albumam.nl will remain active until July 19. The e-mail address albumam846@gmail.com remains active in the future for listening reports or chat.
