Westend Radio has shut down its two stations in Hermiston OR.
Classic Country “Real Country 1360” KOHU and AC “93.7 The Q” KQFM Hermiston ceased operations on April 30. Located just south of the Tri-Cities of Kennewick, Richland and Pasco WA along the Columbia River, the stations mostly utilized Westwood One’s syndicated programming.
In an announcement on Facebook, station management wrote, “It’s been quite a ride! We have had the privilege of serving this community for many, many years and it has been a true honor. Many things have changed over the years, and some of those changes have led us to the difficult decision to close down the radio stations. We appreciate your support throughout the years and wish this community the very best! Thanks for tuning in with us! -KOHU & The Q Crew”.
