My friend Scott, W4PA, recently moved to Bonaire. He told me that a new low-power AM station on the island just started up as of July 26.
Radio Bonaire transmits 24/7 with 400w on 1530 kHz. Primarily designed as an emergency information station during hurricanes, they also broadcast music. It’s run by a team of volunteers, spearheaded by Paul, PJ4SON.
Antenna: 21m high wire vertical top hat capacity loaded with 4 radials. Listener reports to info@bonaire1530.nl
