ESPN 1250 debuts in San Antonio.
Following the move of its programming to “Sports Star” 94.1 KTFM Floresville/San Antonio last June, Alpha Media has broken the simulcast with it and 1250 KZDC San Antonio.
KZDC will now run the national ESPN lineup 24/7 as “ESPN 1250“. KZDC will carry ESPN Radio’s NBA, NFL, and MLB play-by-play in addition to the national talk programming.

Format change here locally as of this morning…KXCB 1420 is no longer on the Boomer Radio Network, but is now simulcasting K293CX 106.5 “Bluffs Country 106.5”, also a new slogan and format for that translator. Music is a mix of classic and modern country. The rest of the Boomer Radio Network remains intact…1490 on AM, 94.5, 97.3, and 104.1 on FM.

Rocking M Media has dropped Conservative Talk at three of its Western Kansas stations.
730 KLOE Goodland KS has flipped to Sports “Fox Sports 730“. KLOE retains its local “Good Neighbor Hour” hosted by Curtis Duncan from 6:00 to 8:00am Mountain Time. The station will also carry University of Kansas football and basketball, Denver Broncos football, and Colorado Rockies baseball.
“The Patriot” 1510 KNNS Larned and 107.9 KZRS Great Bend/Hays have flipped to 1960s/70s Oldies as “Superhits“. Both stations are in the process of being sold to new owners as part of Rocking M Media’s bankruptcy restructuring.
White Communications will be purchasing KZRS for $270,000 to add to their AM/FM combos in Concordia and Russell KS.
Ad Astra per Aspera Broadcasting will purchase KNNS along with two other stations for $152,000. Ad Astra has reserved new KLQR call letters for when the sale closes.

RNE-Ponferrada has resumed the broadcast of their own news bulletins on both RNE1 (855) and R5TN (1107). In recent years this station was unable to produce own programing due to the lack of staff. They were only contributing to provincial bulletins produced by RNE-León, in the province capital.

Corus flipped Classic Rock “Q107” CFGQ-FM Calgary to a simulcast of News/Talk 770 CHQR at 5:30 this morning as the stations rebranded as “QR Calgary“.
The move makes CHQR one of only two FM News/Talk stations in Canadian large markets joining Rogers’ “City News” 1310 CIWW Ottawa and rimshot 101.1 CJET-FM Smiths Falls ON.

Max Media has brought Fox Sports Radio programming back to Norfolk/Virginia Beach with today’s flip of “Money Talk 1310” WGH/100.9 W265EF Newport News and 94.1 WVSP-HD2.
“Fox Sports 1310” brings the network back to the market following Sinclair Communications dropped the network to flip 850 WTAR Norfolk and translators 96.5 W243EK Hampton and 96.5 W243DJ Norfolk to Hot AC “Lucy-FM” at the start of September 2022. WGH joins “ESPN Radio 94.1” WVSP in Max Media’s Norfolk cluster.

iHeartMedia has flipped its newly LMA’d 1190 WTSD Leesburg VA and the former Talk “104.7 WONK-FM” W284CQ/101.1 WWDC-HD2 Washington DC to Sports “iHeart Sports DC“.
The station will feature Fox Sports Radio programming from 6am to 5pm weekdays including “2 Pros and a Cup of Joe”, “The Dan Patrick Show”, “The Herd with Colin Cowherd”, and “The Doug Gottlieb Show”.
