Yet another new AM station will soon be on the air in Alaska. Dave Becker, the engineer who built KABN (960 AM), verified my reception report and had this to add:
“There will also be another new station in Kenai, Alaska coming on the air soon in a few weeks: KPEN AM 840 KHz 5kw day / 1.9 kw night. This station is owned by my company “Peninsula Communications, Inc.” and will be simulcasting with PCI owned KGTL AM 620 KHz, Homer, Alaska.”
