Correction: Yesterday’s blog post about AM – together with FM – radio to stay on air until 2030 has turned out to be far from correct.
Paul has kindly informed me that the actual Department for Culture, Media and Sport report states that only FM is to be retained until 2030. It recommends that the UK’s three national medium wave networks be closed in the mid 2020s, though the final decision is to be left to the individual broadcasters.
