It’s still IDing as KOMO as of 0200 UTC Jan 2. So far, here’s no mention of an impending change on the station’s website komonews.com, and I’m not aware of them announcing anything on the air. Stay tuned and we’ll see what happens. The new owners apparently have the option of paying royalties to Sinclair if they want to continue using the KOMO calls.
