Since the beginning of Russia’s open aggression against Ukraine, the Ukrainian Radio of the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine has launched three new medium-wave transmitters.
Thus, today there are four transmitters in Ukraine that provide a reliable signal of Ukrainian radio in the medium-wave range:

It will be recalled that medium waves are a range of radio waves with a frequency from 300 kHz (wavelength 1000 m) to 3 MHz (wavelength 100 m). Medium waves are able to propagate over long distances due to the bending of the earth’s surface, as well as reflected from the ionosphere at night (i.e. at night, the medium-wave signal is stronger).
