Love Sport Radio.
The digital licences of Love Talk and Love Sport Radio have expired. This was announced by the British regulator Ofcom in its summary of changes on 7 April 2022 (https://www.ofcom.org.uk/manage-your-licence/radio-broadcast-licensing/monthly-updates/march-2022).
The project of a mighty competitor for Talksport (main frequencies 1053 and 1098 kHz) is finally history. Love Sport launched in 2018 on London’s 558 kHz with a potential audience of more than 10 million. In 2019 Love Sport and Panjab Radio swapped their frequencies. Panjab Radio now competed even more intensely with the Asian stations of Sunrise Radio and Lyca Radio. Love Sport reduced its coverage to the north of the British capital on 1584 kHz. In 2020, A Spokesman Said left AM over to Panjab Radio, which put Asian FX on its original frequency. Love Sport went purely digital.
