“Unfortunately, the technical services of Cadena SER have decided to shut down all OM stations in the country. A decision beyond our control and which we, like you, very much regret. We remind you that you can listen to us on 93.5 FM and 102.0 FM and our app.“

“Good morning, they just sent me this, the OM station of COPE-PAMPLONA 1134 Khz.
The closure of the COPE OM in PAMPLONA can be considered definitive. Next, I pass on the information sent to me by the Pamplona radio station:
For some time now, Onda Media listeners have been informed that Cope has decided to stop its AM broadcast for business reasons. Greetings and thank you.”
(OM-Onda Media refers to mediumwave).

I’m not sure how recent this is, but 2ME Brisbane is on the air on 1638kHz.
Their website has been updated & also indicates 1638kHz Canberra active, but it doesn’t appear to be….
https://www.2me.com.au/
BTW not such callsign as 4ME in ACMA online records.

Hawaii

After recently checking an online SDR in Hawaii, I noticed a few local changes there on the AM band. Here are the latest details:
1370kHz KHXM Pearl City HWA (1-0-3-9 The X)
1420kHz KKEA Honolulu HWA (ESPN)
1460kHz KHRA Honolulu HWA – now appears to have closed down with the frequency left clear of locals. 1500kHz KHKA Honolulu HWA (Sport)
Hopefully, this will help if any of these stations are heard via DX.

iHeartMedia has expanded Fox Sports Radio to a second signal in Bakersfield CA.
Comedy 800KBFP Bakersfield is now simulcasting “Fox Sports 970KHTY Bakersfield. Both signals are running the national Fox Sports Radio lineup around the clock outside of “CK On Sports” from 3-4pm hosted by Christopher ‘CK’ Hall and based at co-owned 1340 KCBL Fresno.
KBFP was the last of iHeart’s terrestrial stations running the format from its 2012 initiative placing it on many signals across the country.

MAGNIFICENT CME: Earlier today, an unusually slow solar flare hurled a magnificent CME into space. The explosion and its afterglow lasted nearly 8 hours. The CME could sideswipe Earth’s magnetosphere later this week, producing minor geomagnetic storms. Full story @ Spaceweather.com.

SBS Radio MW frequencies.
This list might be helpful…lest you think you are receiving something more exotic! This applies to those outside Australia as well, for example a DXer on the west coast of North America who hears an Indian language programme- who might mistake SBS for a genuine signal from the subcontinent.
Canberra: 1440 kHz
Melbourne: 1224 kHz
Sydney: 1107 kHz
Newcastle: 1413 kHz
Wollongong: 1035 kHz, 1485 kHz
All the other SBS services are on the FM band, even those in the other capitals.

I understood [….], that the 2CH transmitter on 1170 kHz was supposed to close down on 10 June in the evening?
There still is sports programming hear via Sydney Kiwi today.
What is then heard in Sydney today: http://sdrvk2ari.hopto.org:8073/?f=1170.00amz9

Yes 1170 kHz is still very much active in Sydney; it is now ‘SEN 1170‘ airing an all-sports format as discussed above. There are no plans to switch off this service as far as I’m aware. 2CH left 1170 kHz over a year ago now.
