Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic, the fate of the country’s tallest building is being decided – the masts of the radio transmitting center in Liblitz (355 m).
After the transition of broadcasting from analogue to digital on January 1, 2022, the infrastructure of this relay center is threatened with liquidation.
Residents of the settlement of Liblica and the surrounding area are preparing a petition with a request to preserve the object, which can become a cultural and historical dominant of the Central Bohemian region.
The Liblitz transmitter was the most powerful medium wave transmitter in the Czech Republic (750 kW).
