Station Sales of the Week.
Chris Murray’s P.B. Broadcasting of Georgia will purchase Ploener Radio Group for $10. The deal involves Classic Hits “Fox-FM1090 WBAF/104.9 W285FK Barnesville and 1370 WFDR Manchester GA, and Hip Hop “Streetz 94.5” WFDR-FM Woodbury GA which is leased to Steve Hegwood’s Core Communicators. Murray, who also owns four and operates other stations across Georgia, already serves as General Manager of Ploener Radio Group whose owner Paul Ploener passed away earlier this year.

KGAY PSP adds a second AM in Palm Springs with the acquisition of 1400 KESQ Indio from News Press & Gazette’s Gulf-California Broadcast Company for $8500 with the deal only including the license and transmission equipment of the station. KESQ currently simulcasts Regional Mexican “La Poderosa 96.7” KUNA-FM La Quinta. The buyer owns LGBTQ+ Dance “106.5 KGAY1270 KGAY/106.5 K293CL Thousand Palms.

Great Lakes Radio Inc. sells Classic Rock 92.7 WRPP Manistique and 98.7 W254AG Escanaba MI to Aurora Media for $200,000. The Todd Mohr led company will begin operating the station via LMA as it joins a cluster that includes Soft AC 680 WDBC/94.5 W233CT Escanaba, Country “Kix 104.7” WYKX Escanaba and Silent 103.9 W280GB Escanaba.
