As iHeartMedia flipped dozens of its stations across the country today to Christmas music, one newcomer joined the ranks dropping its regular brand in the process.

Hot AC “103.9 Kiss-FM” 1450 WSDV/103.9 W280EV Sarasota FL went all-Christmas at 5pm today as “103.9 Santa-FM“. The station had its first foray playing holiday music in 2021 where it went to a split identity keeping its regular format during the daytime, but playing “Kissmas” music on evenings and weekends.

World Music Radio (WMR) is again broadcasting 24 hours daily on 5930 and 15700 kHz – at least for the time being. Should electrify prices increase again, the schedule may be adjusted.

So it is: All four WMR frequencies on the air daily 0000-2400 UTC
927 kHz (300W) from Hvidovre, Copenhagen
5930 kHz (100W) from Bramming
15700 kHz (10W*) from Randers
25800 kHz (60W) from Mårslet, Aarhus
As well as via online streaming from www.wmr.radio

*) A new 300W transmitter is due to be installed for 15700 kHz within the next few weeks. Then broadcasting hours may be reduced again.

Just seen that 999 kHz from Grigoripol is still of. 17:30 UTC

Perfect chance to listen to “Radju Malta 93.7 FM” on the same frequency now, as Italy is also gone since September.

Co-Channel interference is now only caused by Egypt and Spain.

Usually, Malta is almost impossible in Central Europe when Radio Rossii is on.

Inthe past, when there was no Rossii on 999 (but TWR in the late evening hours), RAI was also causing problems
