The Danish DX Listeners’ Club DDXLK celebrated its 50th anniversary on February 3rd, and the “birthday party” was held in Kalundborg with a visit to the transmitter site of DR Kalundborg 243 kHz (in use since August 1927).
Below a photo of the two antenna masts and the Nautel transmitter which was installed in 2011 and active since June 16th the same year. The transmitter went on air, when we were standing in front of it. Fascinating.
