As the sad trend of switching off AM stations continues in many countries, Italy is probably the only country to revive medium wave at the moment.
Numerous attractive broadcasters such as Power 927, Radio Studio X, Radio Z100 Milano, Radio Diffusione Europea, Radio Veneta, Media Veneta Radio etc. are again or continue to rely on terrestrial broadcasting via the good old medium wave. This is very gratifying!
In addition, these stations can usually be received quite well and always have excellent audio quality – sometimes in normal AM mode or in Quam AM stereo.
