Another good old LW transmitter bites the dust.
It is with a heavy heart I breake the news that Kalundborg 243 kHz will be closing down at the end of 2023, on December 31st.
It has been in use since August 29th, 1927.
These days the transmitter is on air four times a day with navigational warnings, weather forecasts, news and a few other things.
