Smooth Radio Essex on 1431 MW now has announcements stating that the MW service will close on 30th June.

The licence for Smooth Radio Essex on 1359 and 1431 runs out at the end of the year. 1359 may be closing on June 30th as well, no announcement during the break for news, adverts, change of programme just before 1200 UTC today though.
