More medium wave closure news I’m afraid.
It was announced yesterday evening that Safron Green 1548 kHz, which carries Gold in London), previously Capital Gold and Capital Radio, will close on 31 August.
Capital started on 557 kHz from a different site, but apparently moved to Safron Green site on 1548 kHz in 1975.
