Last Transmission of Kalundborg available on historical LW broadband recording:

A first IQ-wideband recording of the last transmission of Kalundborg (243kHz) is now available in the COHIRADIA  archive (LINK: https://www.radiomuseum.org/dsp_cohiradia.cfm). The band extends from 118 – 368 kHz and has very good SNR with a clear signal.
This recording was kindly provided by Claus Juul Nielsen and covers the full length of the special program broadcast by DR from 13:28 – 17:20 as well as the last series of jingles until transmitter shutdown. This unique recording can be downloaded freely from the archive (LINK: https://www.radiomuseum.org/dsp_cohiradia_detail.cfm?id=98). It can be played back on a PC with software for software defined radios (e.g. SDRUno) but also on analogue radios receivers when using the RedPitaya platform supported by COHIRADIA.

Additional recordings from other receiving sites will be uploaded during the next days and will be available soon.

Footnote: The files, though having the extension ‘wav’, are no audio files and cannot be played back with standard audio players. Use SDRUno, SDR#, SDR-Angel, HDSDR or similar tools.
