Re. Galei Tzahal resumes MW 1287 in Israel.
The 1287 frequency was selected for VOH because it allowed high power operation consistent with the ITU regulations. It is assigned to and was previously used by the IDF, and it seems likely that this present use is from the VOH facility, which is in northern Israel, triplexed with 882 and 1458 kHz at a site owned/operated by the Israeli communications facility company Bezeq.
