It turns out 1368 kHz is now broadcasting a separate station, Manx Radio Gold, which is essentially classic hits. That frequency is still being used to cover Tynwald (the national parliament), FC Isle of Man matches or Radio Caroline North that one weekend a month, however. This might explain why it’s not closing down after midnight any more. The station began operations at 0700 BST on 1 July and, similarly to Gold in the UK (“across”), only appears to have two presenters, Mannin Line’s Andy Wint and Carnaby Street with Chris Williams on Saturday mornings.
