I have for some time noted jamming on 837 kHz. Considering what is listed on the frequency the only possible target is Radio Oromi in Ethiopia, that is if the central government not only jam signals from abroad but also opposing regions within the country.
I’m enclosing a recording with the jammer and talk (which is not BBC Asian Network that is also on 828 kHz, which I cross check.
