Radio Seagull with special program for the Christmas week.
Radio Seagull has adapted its programme for the Christmas week. The regular programme has been changed. On Monday and Tuesday there will be some historic programmes by former Seagull members such as the recently the recently deceased Dave Foster and Carl Kingston will be repeated. On Christmas Day from 6am until 6pm there will be the ‘Radio Seagull Listener Album Top 50’! (Repeat from 6pm to 6am in the morning).
On Boxing Day from 10.00am to 1.00pm, Norman Barrington will be taking Barrington takes listeners on a journey through radio history when 50 years ago, in 1974, many offshore radio stations in the Netherlands had to Netherlands had to throw in the towel. Radio Seagull broadcasts around the clock on http://www.radioseagull.com, on 747 AM in the Netherlands (from 6.00 pm to 6.00 am, also available in parts of Germany) and every Saturday and Sunday from 22.00 to 6.00 am on DAB+ in Edinburgh, Brighton and Central London.
Radio Seagull’s base, the radio ship Jenni Baynton, is currently moored in currently anchored in Harlingen in the Netherlands.
