Ethiopia

A station on 630 kHz heard on the KiwiSDR in Addis Ababa may be associated with the Oromia Education Bureau and broadcasts pre-recorded lessons for students in Oromo and Amharic (I have not noticed what might be considered as live programmes). A lot of typical Horn of Africa type music is played, as well as a repetitive xylophone-style tune between some lessons.
I have translated snippets and come up with various introductions, such as “This is a 7th grade Amharic language course prepared by the Oromia Education Bureau”, “This is a 5th grade environmental science lesson”, “This is a 7th grade lesson in the field of physical education”, “This program is designed for those who are learning Amharic as a second language” etc, but no clear indication as to the actual station name. As would be expected for student lessons, it is heard during what would be the daytime n Ethiopia. Judging from the strength of reception, the transmitter appears to be located in Addis Ababa.
