The Harbour Light is back!
I was very pleased to hear the Harbour Light back on 1400 this morning, with an ID “This is the Harbour Light of the Windwards broadcasting from Carriacou. The time is now 11.02”
It had quite a strong signal about ten minutes later. I’ve been watching for their return since they lost their tower in Hurricane Beryl on 1st July 2024. I’ve seen no evidence of even a carrier until today, but they are back a few Hertz above CBC, just where they used to be. It’s a very commendable achievement that they should return to the air after such a significant setback. Well done, Harbour Light!
