With reference to the above posting to-day, this is most likely to be irregular broadcasts from “Radio Blackbeard“, which sometimes transmits on 1476 khz., previously used on this frequency by “Carillon Radio”, Leicestershire. I often listen to this “pirate” briefly out of curiosity, which has few announcements, but it is a loud and clear signal here in West Bridgford, Nottingham, England, so it must be transmitting from somewhere in the East Midlands!
