DWJJ 684 observed on mediumwave.
Cabanatuan-based “new” station DWJJ 684 consistently observed on 684kHz via a remote webSDR in Manila. Not really new as according to Wikipedia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DWJJ-AM] it’s been around for quarter of a century! It’s listed in the current hard-copy version of WRTH but not in the app, nor on MW List.

Thanks. It was reported to having closed down early this year, but apparently for once not true for an AM station.

Papua New Guinea

The National Broadcasting Corporation’s provincial station for the autonomous region of Bougainville is looking into ways of improving NBC radio signals throughout the region.
MEDIUM WAVE
Technical teams have identified a possible site for a medium wave transmitter which should improve the clarity of NBC radio signals, helping the current FM signals. This site is to accommodate a 10kw Nautel medium-wave transmitter, which has already been ordered.
SHORT WAVE
NBC engineers are also going to Hutjena Buka to observe the possible resumption of short-wave transmission. They plan to use the shortwave transmitter that is currently inactive. It would only need a few parts to be fully operational. These parts have already been purchased and are now awaiting installation. The transmitter would be a 10 kW NEC HFB-7840 manufactured in the early 90s.
Since the early 2020s, a major programme of public investment has been unleashed to renovate NBC’s headquarters and regional stations.
Combining the FM network with shortwave and medium-wave transmitters will bring NBC radio signals to communities nationwide and internationally.
