In the last few days, there have been some interesting developments in the AMBA’s Amplitude Modulation ether, which is characterised – as we are used to – by dizzying changes from one day to the next. In that order, it is worth mentioning the reactivation of LRI213 RADIO EL SOL on its usual frequency of 1450 kHz, after being off the air for several weeks.
Also noteworthy is the reappearance of RADIO 26 DE JULIO (‘R26’) from Glew, active on 1580 kHz, after being reported for some days broadcasting irregularly.
An interesting situation is that of AM 1010 ONDA LATINA (1010 kHz), which reappeared for a few days, and then went silent again, a situation which continues to this day.
RADIO CADENA UNO of Ciudadela (1240 kHz) continues to be active without broadcasting any programming, but only plays music 24 hours a day.
RADIO CHARRÚA is still on the air from La Unión, Ezeiza district, operating on 1490 kHz and announcing broadcasting on ‘1480 kHz’. It does not have any programming either, but only offers music.
On the other hand, and returning to the stations that broadcast under licence from the interior of the country, it is important to note that RADIO LT3 AM 680 (680 kHz) from Rosario, Province of Santa Fe, is momentarily off the air due to technical problems, according to one of its engineers. Possibly this fact is due to problems with the transmitter located in its Transmitter Plant in the rural area of Alvear, waiting for the order from the licensee firm ‘Alpha Media S.A.’ in Buenos Aires, in order to solve the problem.

I haven’t heard this for quite some time but last night there was a better than usual signal from Finn Valley FM on 1206kHz. ((2350utc 1/5/25)
It is low power and I’m not sure if anyone has heard it except on the BDMR.
I cannot be sure whether it has been off air or whether last night was unusually favorable propagation. (DX reception by comparison felt suppressed at this time).
Out of curiosity it is interesting to note that Flairmax/Shazam cannot cope with the local Irish Country songs being played.

As far as I am aware had been off for a while due to transmitter repairs. As you say, VERY low power.
