Last (Friday) night at 22.00 hrs I missed the signal from Roumoules/Monaco on 1467 AM by Radio 6 International.
Now I learned that the man behing Radio 6 Int in Scotland, Tony Currie, passed away Sept 26th.
He mentioned the fact that he paid the 1000 kW transmitter by himself, so that could be the sad reason. He was the presenter of the hour, and told the audience that he was ill.
Radio 6 Int also was on air on 1467 Saterday, same time slot 22-23 hrs.
Rest in peace Tony, and thank you for the programs.
Ruud Poeze, Radio Paradijs (as well on 1467 in Holland) (2026-10-11)
