Radio Caroline writes on Facebook:
We can now confirm that Ross Revenge has been booked in to the MMS Ship Repair and Dry Dock facility in Hull for structural repairs and work will start on Monday 8 March. The ship needs to arrive at the shipyard two weeks before the start date so, weather permitting, she will leave the Blackwater Estuary mid-February. The journey by tug will take approximately two days.
While we had hoped to get Ross Revenge into the dry dock earlier, the shipyard has been asked to carry out major work on a ship which has sailed across the Atlantic from Canada. MMS Shipyard was chosen for this contract because of its reputation, skills and experience.
This delay gives us time to complete extensive onboard preparations and continue to raise funds, so that as much work as possible can be carried out while Ross Revenge is in dry dock. It is likely the ship will be in dry dock for a minimum of six weeks.
