After several weeks of being off-air, RADIO SELVA (AM 1710 KHz) has returned to the ether. (But seems unclear whether the MW transmitter is repaired or if they are only doing an FM relay.)
As reported on their Facebook portal, the station was unable to transmit due to the fact that the transmitter’s valves were “run out”. Since November he had started broadcasting through his website: <www. rs 1710 am blogspot. com> and then by Streaming. The station has studios in the city of Ituzaingó, in the western area of Gran Buenos Aires,.  AM 1710 KHz is heard broadcasting to FM EL RANCHO (92.5 MHz) from the town of Leandro N. Alem, Province of Missions. We appreciate the information from colleague Alejandro Tapia who reported us the listening of RADIO SELVA from Mar del Plata.
