They got a new license for 1260 and plan to start broadcast in the 2nd week of June. The only question is which antenna they will use, there are many shown in the thread but no info which one they use.

Nun droht ihm laut Tschechischem Fernsehen der Abriß . Das Problem ist die kostspielige Wartung eines ungenutzten Senders. Nach Angaben des Tschechischen Fernsehens würde allein der Austausch der Seile an den Masten 40 Millionen Kronen kosten. Der Sender gehört der České radiokomunikace.
40 Millionen CZK sind etwa 1,6  Millionen EURO.
Einige Politiker meinen, dass die neun AM – Sender (die am  31.12.2021 um 24,00 Uhr abgeschaltet wurden), den Staat retten sollten. Sie wären für Krisensituationen geeignet. Anfang Mai forderte der Verteidigungs- und Sicherheitsausschuss des Senats die Regierung auf, den Einsatz von Sendern in Notfällen in Betracht zu ziehen.”

There will be a decision if the antenna will be heritage and therefore cannot be demolished. The exchange of the guy wires will cost about 1.6 Mio. €.

The Alexander Association welcomes all visitors to Alexanderson Day, Sunday, July 3, 2022, 10-16.
After the pandemic restrictions of the last two years, we are happy to welcome all visitors again.
Together with the World Heritage Grimeton Radio Station, we offer many activities, for the whole family, during the day.
We will make two transmitter startups with SAQ, but this year without any transmission over the antenna due to difficulties in obtaining components in the ongoing maintenance work.

– The control, an obstacle course for all climbers, where there are different tasks to solve.
– Operation Palmqvist, an escape room that takes place on Grimeton Radio Station during World War II.
– Kjells café, with good coffee.
– The radio shop, the world heritage well-stocked souvenir shop.

Boats have not needed the broadcast for decades but radio bosses know nostalgia for it runs deep.
Radio 4’s shipping forecast is a national institution, with millions of listeners reassured by the thought that, somewhere out at sea, British fishers are patiently waiting by their radios to find out whether there is a gale warning in Rockall or Cromarty.

Yet the announcement that Radio 4’s long wave signal will be shut down as part of the BBC’s latest cuts has left many wondering how the country’s fishing fleet will cope without access to the four-times-a-day updates.
