Re.: Demise of Today FM Network in NZ 

The reactivation of 1368 with ‘The Breeze‘ took place around 17 February when Hawkes Bay was severely impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle. 
It was explained as a temporary arrangement at the time and I think it is unlikely to survive, given MediaWorks earlier decision to close their MW transmitter there as well as in Rotorua and Tauranga.  The 1368 operation got a brief mention in my NZ DX Times column in March.
Attached is an aerial view of the main AM transmitting site Pakowhai in the Hawkes Bay when it was completely flooded in the cyclone’s path. The 1287 and 1125 AM transmitters located there were off air for a period.
