Carillon Wellbeing Radio 1476 to close at the end of March.
Much to my surprise, Carillon was on the air between 1528 and 1553 this afternoon (only). Carillon’s transmission started and ended abruptly. The twenty-five minutes were filled with pop music. There was just one spoken announcement – a PSA from Leicestershire Trading Standards aimed at businesses unfairly exploiting the Coronavirus outbreak, warning that Trading Standards would enforce complaints received by the Competition and Markets Authority. I rather suspect that this recorded announcement was made several years ago.
