iHeartMedia has consolidated its Sports programming in Louisville on 790 WKRD.

The former “790 KRD” has rebranded as “SportsTalk 790” as Matt Jones’ “Kentucky Sports Radio” network programming is moved over to the station from sister “Talk Radio 1080” WKJK.

WKRD, which previously focused on University of Louisville sports, will broaden its focus with a new lineup that will feature KSR’s erry Eaves from 7-8am, Tom Leach from 8-9am, KSR Preshow from 9-10am, Kentucky Sports Radio from 10am-12pm, and J Fox Sports Radio’s Colin Cowherd remains from 11-3pm. Former WKRD morning host Nick Coffey moves to afternoons for “Coffey & Company” from 3-6pm. Fox Sports Radio will air in all other dayparts.

With Kentucky Sports Radio’s move off of WKJK, the station will realign its lineup, but right now it is running loops from Kentucky Sports Radio hosts to move over to 790 in the dayparts that programming was airing.

KGNO appears to have dumped the news talk format. I caught a remark from their cluster GM on a FB page about the fact they had several format changes at Rocking M come the new Year.. and KGNO has removed references to any news talk programming on their website..  and now just makes reference to some short information features and True country music from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Bonneville Denver is combining all of its Sports properties under a new “Denver Sports” umbrella.

The new brand will encompass programming from “104.3 The Fan” KKFN-FM Longmont, “ESPN Denver 1600” KEPN/KKFN-HD2, and KKFN-HD3 which airs University of Denver play-by-play as well as podcasts and local video programming. The DenverSports.com and Denver Sports app and related social media will replace KKFN’s brand as the primary brand atop the cluster.

The move follows similar rebrandings at Bonneville’s Sports properties in Phoenix, Sacramento, and Seattle to emphasize the market name.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Le ture is organized by All lndia Radio in the memory of the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad who was an epitome of simplicity, a renowned scholar, President of the Constituent Assembly and a great visionary who had India and Indianness uppermost in his mind.
The lecture series by AIR in his memory has been an honoured tradition since 1969. Hot AC “103.9 Kiss-FM” 1450 WSDV/103.9 W280EV Sarasota FL went all-Christmas at 5pm today as “103.9 Santa-FM“. The station had its first foray playing holiday music in 2021 where it went to a split identity keeping its regular format during the daytime, but playing “Kissmas” music on evenings and weekends.
