Both World Music Radio on 927 kHz and Radio208 on 1440 kHz were forced off the air due to extreme weather earlier this week.
Today Saturday, Radio208 resumed broadcasting on 1440 kHz with 250W (//5970 kHz).
The aerial for WMR 927 kHz has been damaged, and it is expected to take at least a week before WMR returns to 927. In the meantime WMR continuous 25/7 on SW 5930 and 25800 kHz.

Cumulus Media has surrendered the licenses of Soft AC “98.1 The Valley” 1320 KSCR and 98.1 K251BN Eugene OR.
By surrendering the license of the translator, Cumulus can complete the move of 102.9 K275AA Springfield OR to 98.1 utilizing the existing antenna of K251BN. That translator will rebroadcast News/Talk 590 KUGN Eugene.
KSCR utilized programming from Westwood One’s Lite AC network since the launch of the translator in January 2018.

Nu is dat hier niet anders, de zendantenne is met zijn werkfrequentie gezakt van 918 naar 913 KHz.
Zoiets kan natuurlijk niet zo maar gebeuren, daar moet een reden voor zijn. Helaas heb ik het vandaag niet kunnen vinden dus morgen maar verder.
Vandaar dat er even geen uitzendingen zijn van radio TPOT op de 918 KHz. Als er nieuws is wordt het hier zo spoedig gemeld, stay tuned zeggen ze dan.

Do you know a radio amateur in mainland Norway or a “sparks” on a ship/ferry or rig(in Norwegian waters) that has an available transmitter capable of AM as well as antenna for 1.6 MHz who would be interested in helping out so that the transmissions may continue? RTÉ News 11 June 2021:
RTÉ will carry out essential maintenance of the Long Wave (LW) transmitter in Clarkstown, Co. Meath from 15th June 2021 for two months during which period RTÉ Radio 1 will not be available on LW 252. These works are necessary to ensure that RTÉ can continue to broadcast RTÉ Radio 1 on LW.   

This essential maintenance of the transmitter was due to be carried out in 2020 but was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions. For the health and safety of those carrying out the works, the transmitter must be switched off for the works period, until Saturday 14th August (estimated). Furthermore, the works must be completed during the summer months when there is better light and weather conditions. 

The works will be carried out by RTÉ Transmission Network (2rn), a wholly owned subsidiary of RTÉ, responsible for the distribution and transmission of the programme services of RTÉ radio and television, as well as TG4 television, Virgin Media television and Today FM. 

During this period, listeners will continue to have a wide range of choice to access RTÉ radio services which are available at www.rte.ie/keeplistening.

BBC Radio Wales Washford 882 kHz power reduction.
As well as closing BBC Radio Wales transmitters at Wrexham (657) and Penmon (882), the BBC now say they are also reducing power at the main Radio Wales MW transmitter at Washford (Somerset) on 882 kHz.

In another milestone and innovative move, Evanov Communications announced that today it began testing CHLO AM530 in HD. CHLO was the first station founded by the company.
